ElitAgent SERVICES:

You want to publish a book. We can help with the following steps:

1.  PREPARE YOUR MANUSCRIPT FOR PUBLICATION

Existing Manuscripts We will critique your manuscripts and give you professional advice on its suitability for publication, letting you know the most likely market for your work and what (if anything) needs to be done to bring it up to publishable standards for that market. You can then do this additional work yourself or have us put you in touch with a qualified book doctor.

Book Concept  If you have a book concept but have not yet finalized it, we can arrange a consultation with an industry expert who can help you crystallize your idea and plan a book that will appeal to a specific market

The Writing If you know exactly what you want to say but have neither the time nor inclination to do the writing yourself, we can put you in touch with a qualified ghostwriter who can prepare the manuscript from your notes and research information.

Once you have a manuscript of publishable quality, written to appeal to an identifiable market, we will invite you to use our electronic literary agent services, which will:

2.  QUERY PUBLISHERS

We'll put up your own personal web pages to showcase your book.

These web pages will be your electronic query to publishers, with the advantages of an in-person presentation.

They will contain:

- your mission statement to publishers, telling them your goals for the  book and how you wish to work with publishers. This keeps control of your book entirely in your hands.

- dynamic excerpts from your book, to give publishers a preview of it.  Graphics (book cover, your photo, etc.) included where available.

- testimonials and peer-review comments about your work are posted, to let potential publishers see how others have responded to your work.

We will then make electronic contact with all appropriate publishing houses in  North America, simultaneously, alerting them to your work and inviting them  to consider the full manuscript.

3.  NEGOTIATE PUBLISHING CONTRACTS

As interested publishers respond, we will notify you. You can take it from there or have us pursue contract negotiations for you.
