Author's Mission Statement:

At the New Orleans aquarium I once saw a frightful creature with crooked teeth. Later, I told my four-year-old granddaughter about this creature who said right away, "Grandmother, she needs a Crocodontist!" And so this story was born
It is hoped that this book will find it's way into every orthodontist's office as well as the office of every dentist who has a pediatric practice. Why? Because it would be a great comfort to children about to get braces: the outlandish concept of straightening the teeth of a ferocious animal such as Jessica Alligator should appeal to the creative spark in all children and reassure them that "this won't hurt.
